Lucena Blast!!

My weekeend was a blast!! A lot of fun and laughter was filled in that day with the gang. We went to Lucena, Quezon (Southern Tagalog Region) to visit one of my friend/co officemate Anne Maisie De Leon to celebrate her birthday in advance. Her birthday falls on weekdays so she decided to have it in advance. After our shift (that was already saturday morning), I went back home to get my things then I headed to the bus terminal immediately where the meeting place was. To my surprise, I was the one who made it first so I decided to grabbed breakfast first, I might get hungry along the way because it's a 4 hour trip. The usual thing that I do during a trip is to sleep until I reach my destination. Actually, it was my first time to step foot in Lucena, it's typical province just like where I was raised by my parents. Biyaheng Sikmura (Tummy Trip)

A documentaries by Miss Kara David of GMA 7 focusing about the less fortunate people who are relying in feeding programs of different institutions like private schools, churches, ministries and others. After watching the video, I felt like I'm too lucky because I didn't experience the situation that they are into. I can't even imagine myself running from one feeding program to another feeding program just to fill in my empty stomach. This documentary made me realized that what I have before and today came from the hardships of my parents in giving us a good life and I must say that I'm thankful for what they did for us and above all, God. Check out the videos below and feel the poverty of the people in it. This documentary talks about the people who collects left over foods from fast food chains then selling it to cheap food store in their place.
