The Lonely Island is a group of filmmakers and comedians founded in 2001 by Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, and Andy Samberg (aka the Dudes). The group released its debut studio album, Incredibad, on February 10, 2009. The Lonely Island is also responsible for the SNL Digital Shorts on Saturday Night Live, which is where many of its music videos originate.
