I've been using my nikon d3000 for the past 3 months now and I still don't know how to set things up manually, hahahaha! I usually use the guide mode everytime I use it. But lucky me because there's a lot of tutorial videos on youtube that I can watch and learn from it. Check out the video below, it's about this Photography manual setting explanation.
